Kevin - Male Cross Breed
approx 5 Years old

Kevin has been at the Sanctuary since November 2004, so they are really keen to find him a loving home. Kevin was very thin and nervous when he went in, and had been neglected by his owners. He has gained a great deal of confidence, although he can still be nervous with new people and situations. He has become a very loving dog, and loves you to play with him with his toys. His socialisation skills are improving but he is muzzled on walks to prevent problems. He would be best suited to a couple or a family with teenagers, as the sudden movements and noise of young children would probably be too much for him to cope with. 

Mike - Male Staffie Cross
8 Years old

I am desperately seeking someone to love me.  I love getting dressed up and really love wearing coats and jumpers as I get very cold this time of year.  I am a very happy boy with a lovely smile and a very waggy tail.  I love my kennel mates but am also happy to live in a quiet household as I am fond of the old nap every now and again.  I am very cheeky and love to talk to people, especially when they tell me how cut I am.  I have lots of life and spirit in me and love to play and go for strolls in the park.  My temperament and personality are Fantastic and I put a smile on everybody’s face.  I will make a superb addition to any family so if you have space in your house and heart for a little, tiny stray, please consider me.  All my love and lots of licks, Mike the outstanding Staffie x

Deefa - Female German Shepherd Cross Breed
approx 5 Years old

She was born is 2003 and has been at the sanctuary since April 2007.

In Deefa’s previous home she attacked another dog and this is why her owners brought her to the sanctuary. She is very affectionate towards adults (particularly younger men who she seems to love!) and she really enjoys playing. Although there are dogs that Deefa does get along with, in general, she doesn’t seem to like other dogs. Deefa would suit a home where there are no young children or other dogs.
